On the afternoon of November 15, 2021, Beijing Stock Exchange started trading, with the first batch of 81 companies debuting on the bourse, among which, WELLTRANS, a company started by EIC alumni, is the first debuting company in Wuhan.
Located in Optics Valley, Wuhan, WELLTRANS is a company focusing on the field of intelligent transportation. It mainly provides video-centered surveillance products used in express way industry. It is a leading supplier in the industry of video surveillance, and was awarded the title of “ ‘Little Giant Company’ of Hubei Province 0f 2021”.
Chen Jun, President of WELLTRANS, is the graduate of the class of 1993. When he graduated from the department of electromagnetic field and microwave technology of EIC in 1993, he began to work in FiberHome Technologies Group and spent many years on doing research on optical fiber television. In 2001, he and his friends started a company called WELLTRANS and developed the first non-compressed digital video monitoring optical terminal in China. Based on this video optical transceiver product, WELLTRANS gradually developed into a supplier that can supply complete video surveillance system software, hardware and service. The company has begun to focus on the field of “intelligent express way” since 2016, and provides professional solutions for the industry of express way.
