On August 18, National Natural Science Foundation of China released the list of approved projects of 2021. 11 projects of EIC have been approved,with a total funds of 9.52 million Yuan. Compared with last year, the funds has increased by 11.5%, hitting the record high.

This year, 40 applications for the funds of National Natural Science Foundation of EIC have been submitted. 11 projects have been approved, with an application rate of 27.5%, increasing by 3.5% compared with last year. Of these, there is one project for international cooperation and exchange, one project for distinguished young scholars, eight general projects and one youth project.

EIC attaches great importance to the application process. The school took an active part in encouraging teachers who are eligible to apply for the funds, organizing meetings to instruct teachers in application and providing following-up service in order to assure the quality of applications.
